Walter S. Anderson Memorial Scholarship

This award provides recognition and financial support for outstanding undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Dairy & Animal Science who have an interest in dairy production and/or dairy processing.

Arthur C. Bigelow Memorial Scholarship

The entire income from the investment will be applied to support a scholarship or fellowship for a student registered in the course of Agriculture with a special reference to sheep husbandry.

August E. Branding Memorial Award

This award recognizes a junior undergraduate student who is a member, in good standing, of the Penn State Dairy Science Club and whose lifestyle reflects the personal attributes of caring and respect for others, humility, friendly and cooperative attitude, unselfish giving of time and effort to assist others, and organizational ability and attention to details.

Charles and Jane Brosius Annual Scholarship in the College of Agricultural Sciences

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students majoring or planning to major in Animal Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences. The student must have achieved good academic records or demonstrate promise of academic success. First preference shall be given to full-time undergraduate students who meet the above mentioned criteria and who were members of a Chester County 4-H Club.

COBA/Select Sires Inc. Scholarship

This scholarship will provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled in Animal Sciences in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

Craola Farm Scholarship

This fund provides annual scholarships not to exceed the amount of full in-state tuition to aid outstanding and needy students in meeting their educational expenses.

Dairy Farmers of America – Northeast Region Scholarship

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to outstanding students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science, Department of Food Science or Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology in College of Agricultural Sciences; or The School of Hotel, Restaurant and Recreation Management; or the Department of Human Development and Family Studies or Nutrition in the College of Health and Human Development.

North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge Fund in the College of Agricultural Sciences

The purpose of this endowment shall be to enrich the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University, by providing monies to support the expense/operational costs associated with undergraduate students participating in the North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge learning experience. This extracurricular learning experience is overseen by faculty in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science.

Penn State Dairyman’s Club Dairy Cattle Judging Team Award

The purpose of this fund is two-fold: to assist in defraying travel expenses of individual students qualifying as members of the Penn State Dairy Judging Team; and, to provide grants-in-aid for students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Science who expressed the intention to participate in Penn State Dairy Cattle Judging Team activities.

Penn State Dairymen’s Club Dairy Cattle Judging Team Fund

This fund is established to provide travel expenses of individual students qualifying as members of the Penn State Dairy Cattle Judging Team.

Richard E. and Peggy K. Denison Scholarship in Dairy and Animal Science

The purpose of this scholarship shall be to provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding incoming freshmen students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

Ray H. Dutt Scholarship

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to outstanding students enrolled as animal science majors in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science.

Eastern Meat Packers Association Scholarship in Animal Husbandry

This scholarship will assist worthy students who display special interest and talent in Animal Husbandry, and particularly in the field of meats as an enrolled student in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science.

Anna K. Eaton Scholarship

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to outstanding students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Dairy and Animal Science Department.

J. Lloyd Ebersole Dairy Cattle Judging Team Award

The purpose of this award shall be to honor and recognize outstanding achievement by an undergraduate student on the Penn State Dairy Cattle Judging Team who has demonstrated exceptional performance.

Farmshine Scholarship in Dairy and Animal Science

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to outstanding students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences Department of Dairy and Animal Science.

Edgar E. and Dorothy W. Fehnel Scholarship in Dairy and Animal Science

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

Clemens Family Corporation Award

This award is designed to aid outstanding undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Science who have demonstrated an interest in the livestock and meat industry.

Vernon E. Hazlett Memorial Award

This award will provide recognization and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled in a major within the Department of Dairy and Animal Science.

Mark Heilman Campbell Scholarship in Dairy Production

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to outstanding students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science majoring in Dairy Production in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have a proven need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.

J. Lin Huber Scholarship Fund

This fund provides scholarships for outstanding undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have a need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.

Glenn R. Kean Memorial Award

This scholarship honors and recognizes outstanding academic achievement by an undergraduate student enrolled in a major within the Department of Dairy and Animal Science, College of Agricultural Science.

Earl Kesler Endowment

This endowment is to enhance student learning in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science.

Leidy Family Scholarship

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to outstanding students enrolled or planning to enroll in College of Agricultural Science who have an interest in meat science and/or meat processing.

PA Livestock Association Judging Teams’ Fund

This fund provides financial assistance to members of the Penn State Judging Teams in Livestock, Meats, and Horses.

Land O'Lakes Purina Feeds LLC Annual Scholarship

This scholarship will provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in the Animal Science major in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

Albert E. Madigan Award

This award honors and recognizes outstanding research in artificial breeding and animal reproduction by a student enrolled in the Dairy and Animal Science Department.

Todd,Susan and Jonathan T. May Livestock Judging Award

The purpose of this award shall be to honor and recognize outstanding achievement by an undergraduate student who is enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who has demonstrated exceptional performance in livestock evaluation, selection, and judging as a member of the Penn State University Livestock Judging Team.

Pennsylvania Meat Packers Association Scholarship

This scholarship will be made to eligible senior students and graduate students in the College of Agricultural Sciences. The basis for selection shall be leadership, scholarship, interest in the commercial meat business, and financial need.

Lawrence D. and Delores A. Muller Scholarship in Dairy Science

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to outstanding students planning to enroll or enrolled in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science, College of Agricultural Sciences whose specific area of interest is in dairy science.

Tim and Amy Baughman Oravec Memorial Award

This award will honor and recognize an undergraduate student who is enrolled or planning to enroll in either the Animal Sciences or AgroEcosystems Science majors in the College of Agricultural Sciences, and who has performed outstanding service (paid or unpaid) within the previous academic year in a crop or applied animal nutrition lab.

Penn State Dairymen's Club Award for Freshman Students

This award shall be used to honor and recognize outstanding achievement by an incoming, first or second semester standing, undergraduate student who is enrolled or planning to enroll in the Animal Scineces major in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science who has achieved exemplary academic achievement and possesses outstanding leadership qualities as evidenced by participation in extracurricular or community activities related to the dairy industry.

Pennsylvania Pork Producers Annual Scholarship

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have an interest in swine production or who are enrolled in courses leading to a career in the swine industry.

Pennsylvania Forage and Grasslands Council Scholarship

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences majoring in AgroEcosystems Science with an option in either Integrated Crop Management or Plant Science who have a demonstrated need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses. This scholarship is also available to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science who have a demonstrated need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.

Herman R. Purdy Award

This award aids outstanding undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Science who have demonstrated an interest in improving the usefulness of pedigreed livestock for the benefit of mankind.

C. Lee Rumberger Livestock Judging

This fund will provide partial travel expenses for students in the College of Agricultural Sciences who are qualified members of the Penn State Livestock, Meats, or Horse Judging Teams who are competing in recognized judging contests. It may also be used to provide other educational travel expenses for students in the Animal Science major.

Robert H. Rumler Memorial Scholarship in Agricultural Sciences

The purpose of this scholarship shall be to provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding sophomore, junior, or senior year students who have declared a major in Animal Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences and who have a demonstrated need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.

Eugene and Carol Schurman 4-H Scholarship in the College of Agricultural Sciences

This scholarship is designed to provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have been active in the Pennsylvania 4-H program. First Preference shall be given to students who are majoring or planning to major in Animal Sciences.

Edgar and Roberta Seely Scholarship in Animal Production

This scholarship will provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Dairy and Animal Science Department, who have a proven need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses, and who are majoring in animal production.

Standford Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship provides recognition to outstanding students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science, College of Agricultural Sciences.

D. Bruce Stauffer Scholarship for Dairy & Animal Science Students in the CAS

The purpose of this scholarship shall be to provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students majoring or planning to major in Animal Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.

Penn State Stockmen’s Club Memorial Award for Freshmen Students

This award honors and recognizes outstanding achievements by an incoming first-year undergraduate student who is enrolled in the Animal Sciences major in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science, College of Agricultural Sciences.

Betty Parks Strutin Scholarship in Dairy and Animal Science in Memory of Lieutenant David P. Parks

This scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

Joe S. Taylor Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

John R. and Phebe W. Terrell Award in Animal Sciences

This award honors and recognizes outstanding achievement by undergraduate students who are enrolled in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

Therese A. Vrooman Memorial Equine Scholarship-Lifetime Endowment

This endowment provides monies for the equine science program in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science. Preference shall be to award funds to full-time students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science with an interest in Equine Science who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success.

Gilbert S. Watts Memorial Award

This award honors and recognizes outstanding achievement by a student who is majoring in Animal Production in Department of Dairy and Animal Science.

Samuel KainWesterman Scholarship in the Animal Sciences

This scholarship will be used to provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled in Animal Sciences in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

James E. Work Livestock Judging Award

This award will honor and recognize outstanding achievement by an undergraduate student enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences who has demonstrated exceptional performance in livestock evaluation, selection and judging as a member of the Penn State University Livestock Judging Team.

Dwight E. Younkin Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial assistance to worthy students who have an interest in swine production.
